What do you love about rural healthcare?

Rural health is important to me because I have lived in rural Illinois communities almost my entire life. I have a sincere appreciation for the vital role a rural hospital plays in the communities it serves. Rural hospitals ensure community members have timely access to emergency care, critical treatments, routine checkups, and screenings. Working to support rural health is very fulfilling to me.
