Meet Emily Korte
Emily Korte, BSN RN Grant Project Manager
Emily is an experienced healthcare quality and patient safety leader with more than two decades of progressive responsibility across clinical nursing, quality improvement, regulatory compliance, and healthcare leadership.
She previously served as a Quality Manager for four hospitals, overseeing system-wide quality metrics, conducted root cause analyses for serious safety events, developed corrective action plans, and led organizations through CMS, Joint Commission, OSHA, and other regulatory surveys. She also has served in other quality, community outreach, and education roles.
Emily’s clinical background includes leadership and bedside nursing roles in surgical services, operating room, post-anesthesia care, cardiac catheterization, telemetry, critical care, and cardiovascular intensive care units across multiple healthcare systems nationwide.
She earned a Bachelor’s of Science in Nursing from Deaconess College of Nursing in St. Louis, now Chamberlain College of Nursing.
In addition to her professional responsibilities, Emily serves as a board member for the Bond County Health Department, contributing to strategic planning, governance oversight, policy development, and organizational accountability.
