Meet Michelle Hansen
Michelle Hansen, MSN, RN, CRHCP Director of Clinical Programs
Michelle serves as the Director of Clinical Programs at ICAHN. She holds a Master of Science in Nursing Leadership and Management and brings over 20 years of healthcare experience across hospital, clinic, and behavioral health settings. Michelle is a Certified Rural Health Clinic Professional (CRHCP), a certified ASIST (Applied Suicide Intervention Skills Training) instructor, and has a background as a crisis worker.
In her role, Michelle leads clinical initiatives, facilitates peer group collaboration, and manages grant-funded projects aimed at improving care across the network. She serves as ICAHN’s External Peer Review Network (EPRN) Coordinator, supporting hospitals in quality review processes. Michelle also helps coordinate accredited continuing education opportunities and supports provider compliance with VTL Center for Professional Development/ANCC approval standards. Additionally, she serves as a clinical liaison for ICAHN’s Survey Solutions program, offering hands-on support to optimize patient survey efforts, train staff, and drive performance improvement.
Michelle is a key clinical contact for ICAHN member hospitals and is available to assist with a wide range of clinical questions, concerns, and initiatives. She is deeply committed to advancing high-quality, coordinated care in rural and critical-access healthcare settings.
