Ten ICAHN Member Hospitals Recognized Among the Best for Nurse Communication

10 ICAHN Member Hospitals Shine with 5-Star Nurse Communication Ratings

Ten ICAHN member hospitals were among just 16 Illinois hospitals to earn 5-star ratings for nurse communication in the latest CMS Hospital Consumer Assessment of Healthcare Providers and Systems (HCAHPS) Patients’ Perspectives of Care survey. This recognition highlights their commitment to exceptional patient experiences, strong nurse-patient relationships, and high-quality care.

The survey questions summarize how well patients feel that their nurses explained things clearly, listened carefully to them, and treated them with courtesy and respect.

Congratulations to these ICAHN member hospitals:

Abraham Lincoln Memorial Hospital (aka Lincoln Memorial Hospital) in Lincoln

Crawford Memorial Hospital in Robinson

Deaconess Illinois Crossroads in Mount Vernon

Hammond Henry Hospital in Geneseo

HSHS St. Joseph’s Hospital in Highland

The survey data was collected between July 2024 and June 2025, and released on May 15, 2026. Sixteen Illinois hospitals made the list, and nationwide, 567 hospitals achieved this rating. View complete list.
