Meet and Greet Event Planned for New President, CEO at HSHS St. Francis Hospital
HSHS St. Francis Hospital will host an event Monday, January 28, to welcome new president and CEO, Jim Timpe, MS, RT(N)(MR), CSSBB.
Timpe has been serving as the new president and CEO at St. Francis Hospital since Dec. 11, 2018. He previously served at HSHS St. John’s Hospital in Springfield as the director of imaging services, rehabilitation services, sleep and neuro-diagnostics. He had been in that role since 2011.
Before joining Hospital Sisters Health System (HSHS), he held various leadership positions in radiology services in the Chicagoland area. He received his bachelor’s degree from Benedictine University in Lisle, Ill., and his Master of Science in Med Informatics and Management from Northwestern University in Evanston, Ill. Timpe is a member of the American College of Health Care Executives and is seeking his Fellow of the American College of Health Care Executives (FACHE) status.
The public is welcome to attend a blessing service at 3 p.m. in the hospital chapel and the meet-and-greet event from 3:45 p.m. to 5 p.m. in the hospital’s lower level cafeteria. Refreshments will be served.
