Nominate your favorite rural health heroes

When you think of heroes in the field of rural health, who comes to mind? A doctor? A leader? A student? A teacher? Each year, the National Rural Health Association honors outstanding individuals and organizations in the field of rural health who have dedicated their time and talents to improving the health and well-being of others. The nomination period is now open for NRHA’s 2021 Rural Health Awards, your chance to acknowledge your favorite rural health individual, program, or organization so they may be honored nationally for their contributions to rural health. The entry deadline is Feb. 22, and selections will be made solely on the basis of the narrative included on the short nomination form. Winners will be honored during NRHA’s virtual 44th Annual Rural Health Conference May 6. Previous recipients have stretched the boundaries of possibility by forging innovative programs and services, making rural life healthier and more compassionate.
